We also make big outdoor sculptures that create beautiful walk-through environments and shelter from sun or rain. They are serene by day and come alive at night with swirling projections and inner lighting. They are fantastic artwork in their own right and are the perfect backdrop for our illuminated performances and circus shows.

We do non-fire ‘glow-shows’, stiltwalkers, walkabout entertainment and our own interactive light installations.

Such is our success that we have performed all over the world, over 3500 gigs! From large outdoor concerts (biggest audience 80,000) Live TV work, turned on Christmas lights, Radio jingles the list really is endless.

Las Vegas: “Abbagirls are the first Abba tribute act in the world to perform in Las Vegas.…..The Stage Newspaper April 2004.  Re-booked every year from 2004.

In March 2008 we become the first Abba tribute band to tour Korea. One of our shows went out on live KBS prime time Saturday night TV, an audience of over 6 million.  Again re-booked every year.

Abbagirls have performed in 20 countries world wide: USA, all over Europe, Asia, UAE, truly an International act.

Abbagirls is our full time professional job. We take pride and although tongue in cheek work we do take our show very seriously. We can cover 60 of Abba’s fantastic tracks and up to 15 different costume changes (but not on the same night!).

Abbagirls are completely self-contained with full pa & LED lighting rigs, and travel with our own engineer. This allows the band to concentrate on the gig and not worry about the sound.  We can obtain ANY size pa & lights) we can link in to any house system and work with any professional sound & lighting engineers. All our electrical equipment is PAT tested. We have full public liability insurance.

Our show is live, performed by fulltime professional artistes who have worked literally all over the world on some of the biggest stages. Truly allowing us to use the phrase “International Artistes”

The show comes in various formats, our most popular shows are:

2 x female artists

2 x female + 1 Male artist.

The length of the show can be tailor made to suit your requirements, most popular show is our 2 x 45 minute acts, covering some 20 different shows!

We travel with our own sound engineer who operates our state of the art PA and stage lighting equipment, all the equipment is P.A.T. and we have Public Liability Insurance £5m. All documents can be emailed beforehand and all documents are carried on all shows.

So far we have over 1000 shows under our belt, having performed all over the UK, Europe, USA, UAE and Asia climaxing at the Seoul Olympic Arena in South Korea which was televised live, on KBS TV to an audience exceeding 6,000,000. Again allowing us to use the term “International show”.

The show is suitable for all venues large and small; we have performed in just about every type of venue, from Ships, Dorchester Hotel for a corporate party of just 20! Holiday camps, village halls, playing fields, theatre’s, again an endless list….As are our clients: ranging from Private Parties, Weddings, Corporate, Holiday Parcs, and Hotel’s Etc.

Despite being a fulltime international production show we remain affordable with our feet firmly on the ground.

We carry enough PA for an audience up to 400, we also offer use of mics for speeches, background music, music after our show with no extra fee involved. However we can provide any size PA system for an additional fee.

Leo Cardoso started his career in Brazil at the tender age of 13 joining his brothers’ comedy group, Os Irmaos Sombras or The Shadow Brothers. The Shadow Brothers have performed for 14 years and use a form of mime called Sombra that emerged from Latin America. Sombra, meaning shadow, involves the mime mirroring the movements and characteristics of people.

As the mime is often behind the person he behaves like a shadow! I love what I do. I love to show in the street and I like entertain people:) I learnt much with my teacher, about acting and do my best in my performance. With my brothers I learn about family act and what I need do to for to be entertainer.

I choose because is different and very funny and this type of mimicry attracts a lot of attention and is very amusing! Now Leo has brought his talents to the UK. He is based in Manchester, England and is available to perform his unique style of mime throughout the North-West and the rest of the country.
